Private Label Membership Sites, Don??�t Waste Your Money!

There has been a buzz about membership sites for both private label rights and master resell rights products for about two years now. I know this because I have been acquiring resell rights (and private label rights) products since 1997, and have followed the trends religiously since that time.

My name is Thomas L. Johnson, and I have been selling successfully online since 1996. I have also been buying and selling master resell rights products since June of 1997. I have owned and either sold or closed 26 websites. My latest is http://www.resell-rights-packages.com.

But What I am here to educate you about today is the common misconceptions about the plethora of membership sites that are popping up all over the internet. The offer resale rights, and private label products for you to resell yourself, if you sign up and pay a monthly fee, between $25.00 - $250.00 per month, to get access to these products.

That??�s the synopsis; now let me tell you why you should NOT enroll with the membership clubs.

The Products -.The Products are about 80-90% recycled products. I know this because I have been acquiring them since this industry began. Although most of the offer really nice, and fancy new cover designs, and some slight change to the content, they are still products that were available last year, 3 years ago, even up 7 years ago. This is low integrity, and very common business practices.

The Lure - They lure you in with free items with offers like ???Free Silver Membership???, or ??? New Member Freebies???. I highly recommend to take advantage of these, setup a free Yahoo email account (one that you do not mind getting multitudes of spam in) and take grab up those free products. DO NOT use you??�re normal email account, you will regret this to no end. You will be bombarded with ridiculous offers every single day.

And finally??�.

Patience ??” If you can wait 15- 30 days to get access to these supposedly new products, you will be able to pick them up at many of the resell sites, and action sites that will be carrying them for up to 90% off of the suggested retail price. Many of these products are created with such inflated prices, that even a motley fool knows that the ebook is NOT worth $47.00. It??�s comical isn??�t it?! Wait, pay for only the books, or software that YOU believe you can make money with, and get them at extreme discounts. It work! I know this from experience. I do this for a living.

Do not pay someone for products that you have not even received yet. Odds are, most of these sites are just picking them up from someone else anyway.

Okay, I have to start this review with a little bit of trepidation because the sales pitch for this product initially really turned me off. What is with that language? Take a look for yourself here. Apart from the fact that it took me a while to work out what ???fuggedAboutIt??? really means, if you can look past the language, Site Stealer is not a bad product. There are some interesting Marketing ideas to think about. Harris Fellman??�s Site Stealer is a five-step process built around the idea that you ???copy??? the gurus??�the guys and girls who have already made it in the world of Internet Marketing. Step one teaches you about the importance of attention grabbing headlines. The value here is that it gives you 229 headlines that are tried and tested. Then we move to step two, which teaches you how to ???swipe the sales pages??? off product pages that sell well. Now here is where things can get somewhat tricky. There could be major copyright issues if you don??�t change things around enough. Saying that, the value in this approach is that you learn to emulate the sales pages of good-selling products, all the time gaining more experience in this area of Internet Marketing. The next section of the book focuses on copying entire business models, which is really great for newbies. This has value in two parts. First, if you have your own product to sell, you can pick a successful business model and fly with it. For instance, have one time offers after sales. If you are an Affiliate, or you own Resell rights to a product, maybe this section will help you figure out how to promote your products a little better. The final two sections of the book are where the value really lies. We are given very in-depth information about resell rights and how we can purchase them. There is also a section on how to be your own boss and create your own products. These sections are full of great information and lots of process maps that can be useful for any Internet Business. Although Site Stealer is an informative book on Internet Marketing, it has some downsides. While there is a ton of information about sales pages, business models, what resell rights to look out for etc??�there is not much information about how to get people to buy your product. This means that the Newbie out there may struggle with the very basics of how to advertise. On the other hand, the other information provided might be a bit to basic for the more experienced marketer out there. So where does that leave Sal the Site Stealer? Is it really value for money? Verdict: I would happily recommend Sal the Site Stealer to any Internet Marketer, both new and experienced, simply because of the learning tools and process maps available in the book. This is an e-book that I believe can be kept for life and referred back to often as a business guide-book. I give Site Stealer 7 out of 10. There is a good glossary of information in this product.
